The Graymont Model 1121-NMLB Nuclear Medicine L-Block glass is a full 12” by 12” offering the largest viewing area for the price. To assure a continuous clear view, we have placed window glass in front of the lead glass to prevent scratching. Instead of the 0.5” lead sheet in the front, the Graymont NM L-Block uses a more reasonable 0.25” lead which is twice the shielding needed for most isotopes used in Nuclear Medicine. Excellent when used doing QC on FDG or for any other radioisotopes when handling strips or other materials. This places the worker's hands as far away as possible during the procedure. Shorter tweezers are available but even doing QC the exposure should be reduced as low as possible using distance or shielding. These tweezers are medical grade stainless.
